GLOBAL SPRINT CHALLENGE GALLOPS MORNING – THURSDAY, JUNE 10



Members of the media are invited to attend public gallops in Newmarket, tomorrow morning, Thursday, June 10, ahead of the three British legs of the Global Sprint Challenge - the King's Stand Stakes, the Golden Jubilee Stakes, both at Royal Ascot next week, and the Darley July Cup, at Newmarket next month.



Running Order



5.55 Coach departs to gallops from Jockey Club Rooms (including 6am pick-up from Heath Court Hotel).

6.20 Watch Alverta (Paul Messara), Gold Trail (Gary Portelli) on the Al Bahathri, located at the far end of the Bury Road.

6.30 Please note: Joy And Fun (D Cruz) will be on the trotting ring behind Southgate Stables on Racecourse Side for media interested in watching him at routine exercise. Please inform Adrian Beaumont or Tony Rushmer if you wish to attend to make arrangements.

6.40 Watch Nicconi (David Hayes) on the Limekilns grass gallops located at the far end of the Bury Road.



July Course



7.05 Showcasing (John Gosden)

7.15 Ask (Sir Michael Stoute)

7.30 Serious Attitude (Rae Guest)

7.35 Noble’s Promise and Casper's Touch (Kenny McPeek)

8.00 Kinsale King (Carl O'Callaghan) on Town Canter (Bury Side). They will be followed down by Wesley Ward's 2yo Metropolitan Man.



8.10 (approx) Coach returns to Jockey Club Rooms for breakfast.

9.00 Press Conference with leading international connections; David Hayes (Nicconi), Gary Portelli (Gold Trail), Paul Messara (Alverta), Trevor Cruz (Joy And Fun), Kenny McPeek (Noble’s Promise) and Carl O’Callaghan (Kinsale King).
