REVIEW ROYAL ASCOT 2010 DAY ONE TUESDAY 15 JUNE 2010

ROYAL ASCOT OUTSTANDING DAILY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD = ‘GOLD ARM BAND’ BUT WHERE IS THE FINANCIAL REWARD TO GO WITH THIS ‘GOLD ARM BAND’?

LET THE HORSES DO THE TALKING.

The Royal Ascot ‘ Gold Arm Band’ initiative for the leading rider/jockey at Royal Ascot 2010. To give this initiative the credibility that is deserved, it needs to include a significant financial reward also for ‘Outstanding Team Achievement’, to the winner’ In the region of £200.000. (Two hundred thousand pounds)

THEORY.
The way that the British Horseracing Authority is being run at present with Paul Roy (Chairmen) Nick Coward (Chief Ex) both Bloodhorse Illiterate. Bearing in mind the massive remuneration both take out of this sport each and every year. Surely they can between them stump up the first £200,000 for this years Gold Arm Band winning jockey and trainer team?

PRACTICE.
British Horseracing Authority Remuneration out of all proportion to the stark reality born by so many who keep the Sport of British Horseracing on track at the dangerous sharp end, each and every day for scant reward.
