PAUSE FOR THOUGHT
Sandown Racecourse bathed in sunshine this morning looking immaculate, promising a most beautiful afternoons racing.

Following last Saturday’s incident in the parade ring involving Kieren Fallon and the injury he sustained. Could have been so much worse. Kieren suggests it may be safer in future if the runners and their handlers parade anti clockwise, instead of clockwise, (whilst in the parade ring) a measure that Goodwood racecourse have now established. For straight forward reasons that ‘bloodhorse literate’ personnel will understand. But all ‘Bloodhorse Illiterate’ personnel will fail to pick up on.
