European sprinter (either outright or joint), with the other eight all being of the highest quality. Time and again, the Darley July Cup has proved to be Europe’s sprint championship.

THE TWO YEAR OLD ELZAAM RICHARD HILLS 4/7f only managed to finish third in the 2.00 TNT July Stakes (Group 2) (Colts and Geldings) (Cass 1) 6f. The winner LIBRANNO RYAN MOORE 10/1 trainer Richard Hannon for McDowall Racing.


The 3.10 Princess of Wales’s Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1) 1m 4f winner was SANS FRONTIERES TOM QUEALLY trainer J Noseda for Sir Robert Ogden 14/1
