RoR LAUNCHES NEW RACING TO RIDING DVD AT CLINICS WITH YOGI BREISNER

Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) will launch its new ‘Racing to Riding’ DVD on Friday 12th November at the ‘How to retrain an ex-racehorse’ evening clinic at Gleneagles with World Class Performance Manager Yogi Breisner.


Di Arbuthnot, RoR director of operations, said: “If you are thinking of owning an ex-racehorse, or already have one, this DVD is an excellent educational tool to help you. In the DVD Yogi Breisner is joined by European Eventing Gold Medalist Tina Cook as they work with a number of ex-racehorses on the flat and over small jumps. This includes Yogi lungeing an ex-racehorse and giving a jump clinic to three riders with their ex-racehorses, as well as Tina schooling a filly recently out of racing.”

The RoR ‘Racing to Riding’ DVD will cost £16.99. Alternatively, those attending the RoR clinics with Yogi Breisner held nationwide over the next few weeks will receive a free DVD.


Ex-racehorse enthusiasts are invited to come and watch Yogi training ex-racehorses at all levels at these venues:


12th November at the Scottish Equestrian Centre, Gleneagles, Perthshire (7.00pm to 9.00pm)

18th November at the Unicorn Centre, Gloucestershire (7.00pm to 9.00pm)

23rd November at the Oldencraig Equestrian Centre, Surrey (6.30pm to 8.30pm)

YOGI BREISNER  was appointed World Class Performance Manager and Chef d'Equipe to the British Eventing team in 2000. He has since led many medal winning teams including the recent Gold Medal winning team at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Yogi is also much in demand in National Hunt racing, training both jockeys and horses to jump.


The cost to attend the RoR clinic will be £15. Those wishing to attend should email their name and clinic location to lquainton@ror.org.uk , payment is required on the day.

RoR is also launching two more DVDs for specific equine disciplines at £16.99 each: ‘Racing to Showing’ with top show rider and producer Lynn Russell, and ‘Racing to Polo’ with leading polo pony trainer David Morley and England International Tom Morley.
